New Canaan Student-Athletes Receive Awards At Loomis Chaffee

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Two New Canaan athletes who attend Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor were recently honored by the school for their achievements on the field and in the pool this year.

Dennis Joyce was named Coaches' Award Winner in Boys Varsity Water Polo while Julia Crerend was named a National Field Hockey Coaches' Association Academic All-American.

Director of Athletics Bob Howe and other members of the Athletics Department bestowed honors upon the two Pelican athletes in front of their parents and coaches.
