Kerry, Ireland to Daniel and Mary (Spillane) O’Sullivan. He worked for the FDNY as an auto machinist for 25 years. He was an avid fan with a big passion for Gaelic football, but his biggest enjoyment in life was spending time with his grandchildren.  He  was predeceased by his parents; and his son, Daniel. Born July 22, 1932, in Bayonne, N.J., he was the son of the late Charles E. Dietz Sr and Theresa (Betaschay) Dietz.  He married Lillian Garippa Sept. 11, 1954 in Jersey City, N.J.; she survives at home in Red Hook.  For 30 years, he worked for the Ford Motor Company, and later as a school bus driver for the Monroe-Woodbury school district.
