GARNERVILLE, N.Y. -- Patrick J. O’Sullivan, of Garnerville, died Nov. 23. He was 78.
He was born Aug. 12, 1938 In Castle Island Co. Kerry, Ireland to Daniel and Mary (Spillane) O’Sullivan. He worked for the FDNY as an auto machinist for 25 years. He was an avid fan with a big passion for Gaelic football, but his biggest enjoyment in life was spending time with his grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents; and his son, Daniel.

Albert Grimaldi, 88, Of Ridgefield
RIDGEFIELD, N.J. -- Albert Grimaldi, of Ridgefield, died Nov. 23. He was 88.
He was born Oct. 8, 1928, in Harlem, N.Y. and before retiring had worked as an agent for John Hancock Insurance in North Bergen.
He is survived by his wife, Annie (nee) Karoyan; children, Cheryl Murphy and her husband Kevin, Cindy and Dan Terry, Paul Karoyan and Paulette Karoyan, the late Alan Grimaldi and the late Karen Rovetto Grimaldi; siblings, Tina Danielle and Alfred Grimaldi and his wife Ellen; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Charles E. Dietz Jr., 84, Of Red Hook
RED HOOK, N.Y. -- Charles E. Dietz Jr., of Red Hook, died Tuesday, Nov. 22. He was 84.
Born July 22, 1932, in Bayonne, N.J., he was the son of the late Charles E. Dietz Sr and Theresa (Betaschay) Dietz.
He married Lillian Garippa Sept. 11, 1954 in Jersey City, N.J.; she survives at home in Red Hook.
For 30 years, he worked for the Ford Motor Company, and later as a school bus driver for the Monroe-Woodbury school district. He served as a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean War. He fought in the battle of the Chosin Reservoir. He was a communicant of St. Christopher's Churc…

Before retiring, he worked for Cargille Laboratories in Cedar Grove as a facilities manager. He will be remembered for his paintings and writing skills. He loved the outdoors and was passionate about his Harley.

NYACK, N.Y. -- Theresa M. Leone, of Nyack died Monday, Nov. 21. She was 95.
She was the first in her family born in America, March 30, 1921, in Nyack, to Joseph Leone and Mary Margaret Leone (Mahalic).
She attended St. Ann’s School and graduated from Nyack High School with honors in 1939. She was a member of the first female class at Fordham University, where she received a degree in social studies and education.
