Police: Norwalk Man With Facsimile Gun Chased Down In Stamford Town Center STAMFORD, Conn. — A 29-year-old Norwalk man was arrested after police say he was spotted Wednesday with a "facsimile" gun at the Stamford Town Center, then tried to elude police in a rowdy chase through the shopping center, according to the Stamford Advocate. Mohmed Boumazzourn of Camp Street in Norwalk is charged with carrying a facsimile firearm, reckless endangerment, resisting arrest and breach of peace. Wilson Ripoli died from what police believe was a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head that occurred after his wife was shot in the head. His wife is still hospitalized but has recovered enough to communicate, the Connecticut Post said.
