Montgomery County Teen Has Been Missing For Over A Week, Police Say
Police have issued an alert for a Montgomery County teen they say has been missing for more than a week. Zakur Brown, 16, was last seen near the 300 block of Flannery Lane in Silver Spring on Monday, April 1, the Montgomery County Police Department said April 10. Zakur is about 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 120 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair styled in locs, police said. No clothing description was available. A Maryland man pleaded guilty in federal court in Boston to stealing tens of thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from a high-end outlet store in Massachusetts and then attempting to take the haul back to the DC area, federal authorities announced. Baltimore native Nathaniel Owens, 33, admitted to his role in a smash and grab at the Gucci store in the Wrentham Village Premium Outlets in Wrentham with two others, according to officials.
