For the second time on Thursday, a school bus was involved in a crash in Montgomery County. A loaded school bus with 30 students on board was t-boned by a car at around 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7 near the intersection of Miller Fall Road and Muncaster Mill Road in Gaithersburg. Traffic was tied up for miles on I-495 in Prince George's County on Friday afternoon when a moped rider was killed after crashing into a tractor-trailer. A 67-year-old man was hospitalized in Montgomery County after losing control and smashing through the front of a Rockville home. Early on Thursday morning, officers from the Rockville Police Department were called to the 2200 block of McAuliffe Drive, when a driver crashed a Ford pick-up truck into the residence, causing extensive damage.
